The newly created 数据科学 major is a deeply interdisciplinary program in which students can choose to specialize in data and mathematical sciences or another existing major such as economics (other tracks in the social sciences, sciences, and humanities 正在路上). 学生 choosing to specialize in another existing major will apply data analysis, mathematical modeling, and computational techniques in courses like Artificial Intelligence and Machine 学习ing to solve complex problems in that discipline.
